About Me:

My husband and I live in upstate NY--he's a grad student and I'm an admin assistant. I LOVE my job and my relationship--I'm not so in love with our current state of finances. I'm trying to get us as close to where we should be as possible by the time we turn 30.

I'm very optimistic about this year :) I'm finally in a position to contribute financially to our relationship, and am setting some ambitious goals to make sure our lifestyle does not inflate to our newly increased income. Here are my goals for us in 2016:

$1,500 a month to Roth 503b (we had basically nothing in retirement as of the end of Dec 2015)

$6,000 emergency fund by end of 2016 ($5,000 at end of 2015)

$1,500 house fund by end of 2016 ($400 at end of 2015)
