It has been a long time since I last posted--mostly because it got so discouraging being out of work (8 months). Anyway, I accepted a job offer at a local university and am just waiting for the last few things to be finalized and if all goes well I start on Nov 2nd! I'm very excited but also don't quite feel it is real...it's strange.

Anyway, if it does go through, I'll be doing exactly what I've always wanted to do and be earning a good salary for my area--37,000 a year--which is like a fifth of what a lot of you make, but it is a lot to my and the husband's budget (more than doubling our income! lol..)

So..fingers crossed! I'm so very much hoping HR doesn't hate me...

I'll update here later. I've enjoyed reading everyone else's progress, and hope to FINALLY be able to share some of my own...
